BOOT DUSSELDORF

BOOT 2002

IWEMA enterprise was on the "BOOT 2002" in Dusseldorf to improve the availability of LPG systems and LPG filling stations in Europe.

To achieve this we are working together with the major LPG and oil companies to build an infrastructure of LPG filling stations in harbours in Europe.

We have dealers who can install LPG systems in your boot.

To give you an impression of what is possible we have shown a small fuel plant for small (outboard) engines and a large V8 at the BOOT 2002.

Because the exhaust gases are very environmental friendly we were allowed to let a big V8 engine run inside the exhibition building.

This photo shows an example of an LPG conversion of a boat engine. The engine produces over 300bhp on LPG.

Filling the tanks can be done within minutes, so you won't have to carry petrol in fuel cans to your boot and you can sail for half price. All the IWEMA enterprise boat LPG systems meet the same high quality standards as our car LPG systems.

Articles about the LPG conversions were in  "Yacht" in January 2002 and in  "Skipper" January 2002.
