IWEMA enterprise is "the" supplier of marine LPG systems for speed boats and sports cruisers. We were able to develop LPG systems which reach our high quality standards, the European E4 and 67-01 safety standards.
Another problem is the circulating cooling water which is used for heating up the LPG in
the vaporisers. In a car this is done by the coolant but your boat engine
likely might be cooled with water out of the lake, river or sea.If your
engine is cooled with sea water the salt will damage the vaporiser
if it contacts the aluminum housing of the vaporiser.
For those and other reasons the quality standards were made
extremely high so the systems
can be used on fresh as well as on salty water.
Because a marine LPG system never is a standard LPG system it must be installed with
great care by one of our installers to ensure you can enjoy
sailing on LPG for many years.
Because boats are completely different from cars and used in a
different way we
had to develope special boat systems.
The marine LPG systems must be able to deliver a lot of LPG over a long time when the
boat is used on a plane. Most car LPG systems are only able to deliver
high quantities of LPG for a short time.
Because every boat owner has his own wishes and every boat is
different we can't deliver standard LPG systems.
